You may not fully appreciate your health until the day you fall ill. Consider for a moment that your health today, as it is right now, may be the best it will ever be. What might you do differently?
When I was twelve years old, I caught a severe case of pneumonia, missing most of the sixth grade. After a month-long stay in a hospital, I was weak and remained bedridden while slowly regaining my strength. I could hear the neighborhood kids playing outside our living room window and wanted so desperately to join them, but I didn't have the stamina for running. Enjoying good health has increased meaning for me because there was a time when my health wasn't good. I was lucky. I got a second chance and I consider my health to be a great luxury. How about you?
Since this is supposed to be a Marketing Blog, let me just ask if you enjoy the good health of your company? In a good economy, we often take for granted how well our lead generation is going and how good the sales numbers have been. However, when difficult times come, we wish we were back in the good old days. I am asking you to consider for a moment that your business, as it is today, may be the best it will be for the foreseeable future. What could you do better or differently?

First of all, you have a job. Are you grateful for what you have? There are millions of people in America with similar skills who desperately wish they could have a job. Next, I'd like you to look around and acknowledge some of the terrific people with whom you work. Let them know that you appreciate the opportunity to work with them. Finally, find more ways to enjoy your job. Learn as much as you can by increasing your contribution, and by doing what you can to make it more enjoyable for others. Just smile... everyone will appreciate it. You'd be amazed by how much a nice smile can improve the good health of your workplace.
