No Need To Worry.

Today's Marketing Cookie is about setting aside the temptation of worrying.

As a young man anxious about what I should be when I grow up, my mother used to say, "Don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow has enough troubles of its own. Just focus on what you should be today, and your worries will take care of themselves." She was right. And then she promptly reminded me of who I should be that day.

Myself.

There is no benefit in worrying about matters you cannot control. Lamenting about what could be, or worrying about what should be, clouds our ability to see what is. A lot of time and energy is wasted on worry, and even the most skilled worriers are unable to solve even the smallest challenge with their angst. It has been said, in fact, that worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow but rather empties today of its strength.

As you know, at age seventeen, I didn't have any money, a job, or a place to live. But somehow I always found work, had something to eat, and was provided a safe place to sleep. I've seen how things can work out for the best. Whatever your plight may be, and however difficult your situation, I hope you'll set aside the temptation of worrying and take comfort in today's fortune which says, "No need to worry! You will always have everything that you need."
