Thirty years after saying "I do" and raising three working prototypes, I can tell you that love has been a true adventure. Each year brought its own challenges and joys, enriching our lives in unexpected ways. Parenting was a rollercoaster ride filled with chaos, laughter, and a few sleepless nights that left us wondering if we were managing a circus or raising a family. We created countless memories together that made us laugh until we cried and, at times, left us feeling overwhelmed until the smiles returned.

While love is incredibly special, and it really is. Does love really deserve to stand alone as the “only true adventure”? Only means only, right? Does this mean that the countless other experiences that bring excitement and growth into our lives are not true adventures? Why does love get the title while all other adventures get a cheap participant ribbon?

Perhaps the real adventure is love itself. It’s not just about your love for your kids, spouse, or family but for everything you pour your heart into.
